Nino Marchetti is a professional whiskey brand consultant, judge, educator, and writer. As the founder and former owner of The Whiskey Wash, Nino spent over a decade building the platform into a premier global authority on spirits. His leadership as Editor-in-Chief firmly established him as a subject matter expert, culminating in his induction into the prestigious Order of the Writ by the Kentucky Distillers’ Association in 2023.

Following the successful acquisition of his website, Nino launched The Whiskey Bard, a consultancy dedicated to helping spirits brands find their voice through PR and strategic copywriting. When not crafting brand narratives, he serves as a professional spirits judge and hosts immersive educational experiences for corporate and consumer audiences.

A dedicated student of the craft, Nino holds credentials from the Stave & Thief Society and the Edinburgh Whisky Academy, and is currently authoring a collaborative book with a renowned Master Distiller, among other unique projects.
